The third quarter was quite interesting because it had its pros and cons. I learned a lot by paying attention. As the quote suggests, learning is done by paying attention.

Best success
During this quarter, I had a variety of successes but my best was the IR project. The IR project or Independent Reading project was only for honor students. At first, I thought that it would be impossible because it seemed to be complex. However, I liked how the teacher made the students first do a proposal. In this proposal, I began to think about my project.
Since there were no requirements enforced, I felt like I had a lot of freedom. The truth is that the project was supposed to have freedom because the students were making it. Time passed quickly and I did not notice it. The weekend before the project was due, I started to work on the real deal. I make a video/movie and a poster. The project consisted on demonstrating the book, Teen Leadership Revolution. The link to the video is HERE

Greatest challenge
My greatest challenge this quarter was BRAWL. BRAWL was a two day activity which consisted of points in a game. The more complex-like the answers, the more the points. BRAWL was done in groups that had 3 or 4 students. My group was fine but I felt like we did not answer the questions so complex. I had never done anything like this, therefore, I was kind of lost.
The day the students would give peer review, I saw the points my group had earned. I felt very shocked because so far I had like a D. Eventually, I saw my final grade and breathed a little better. I had gotten an 83%, but it still felt bad. I think like if the grading had been a little easier, I might have gotten a better score. For instance, "You learn from your mistakes"( Thierry Henry), shows how I learned from this mistake. I learned that nobody is perfect.

Improvement
For the last quarter, I would like to stop procrastinating. Many people say that they do not procrastinate, but they do. The truth hurts, therefore, I admit in procrastination. The beginning of the third quarter felt like a breeze because not many assignments were given. It was not only for English, but for every class. Since we had just come from break, I thought that maybe the teachers were being nice to the students.
However, the last two weeks were horrible. Blog posts, membean, IR project, narrative and narrative panels, were all due. If I had not procrastinated I would have not felt like that. That is why for the last quarter, I want to be more organized because I feel like it will be more intense. Since the last quarter is the last quarter, I have to be careful with my assignments.
