My other posts have described ways on how to change the world. This post has a little twist to it because I will be focusing on how to change an inner self. What do I mean
by chang ing myself? As you all know, changing the world needs a lot of sacrifice but to start all of this, one must start with his or her self. I always thought changing the world would require political influences to get known, but I was wrong. I was wrong because throughout my life I have learned that nothing can be done unless something is done to one itself. When I was about twelve, my parents were going to have a big missionary trip to donate to a foundation in South America. I was very excited to go on the trip because I was going to help the people in need but a problem occurred.
The day before the trip, my mom and I bought little gifts for every child in the foundation. My parents have always taught how to give to others. When we got to my house, I realized that I had not gone shopping for my clothes. I got very worried because I had nothing to wear, therefore, my parents told me to relax. The rest of the afternoon was spent to buy and pack my clothes. My family and I eventually arrived to the foundation and met the children.
The missionary went better than expected because the children almost cried of joy. To be honest some of them cried, including the nuns. (It was an orphan house run by nuns and the foundation was one of the programs they had). In this missionary, I learned that my example towards others changes their opinion of me. For example, " The world is changed by your example, not by your opinion" (Paulo Coelho), shows how to change the world. From my experience in the missionary, I learned how to change my habits of leaving things to the last day.

The w
orld around The picture on the left demonstrates how the world should be united with different cultures and languages.
To have this perfect unison, everyone has to make a change because as I said, only one can make a difference.

Ever since cultures started to join around the world, many misunderstandings have arose. Not everyone speaks the same language nor does everyone have the same religion. For instance, "The world as we have created it is a process of our thinking . It cannot be changed without changing our thinking." (Albert Einstein), shows how the world was created with customs. Only humans can change the world into a better place. Many people complain on how the world is so unfair but in reality, humankind made it this way.
Politicians, governors, senators and even average people can make a difference by changing their inner thinking towards the world. As I have said before, changing before changing someone is the best thing to do. One easy way to change an inner self is by changing one's views. For example, I might hate the republican party because it is known for the rich people. This is a very bad opinion for others to think about me because it sounds very discriminating. The truth is that the republican party's primary aim was to end slavery in the country.

Natural smiles are the best
I like the picture on the left because a smile is used to change the world not to change the smile. Many people let others around change their smile to a frown because of what they say.
Referring back to the first picture, words change the world. Thinking before acting will help anyone succeed in life.

Smiles are forever because they are as natural as one can get. Smiles are meant to change the world in which we live in. When someone smiles, he or she is lighting up someone else's day. Sometimes things like bullying hurt people because kids start to tease or even hit. Bullying is often done to the quiet kids because the other kids feel superior. Bullying leads others to commit suicide because they have changed their smile to a frown.
In the other hand, sharing with others boosts their self esteem. For example, "Kind words are short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless" (Mother Theresa), demonstrates the effect of kind words towards others. Mother Theresa was a women who spread her love by sharing her smile. If the world changes others' smiles, they would always be sad and depressed because of the frown in their face. I like it when people see me smile because they know that I am happy, full of life.

Many people always forget to think before speaking.
Always remember that the best way to change the world will is by changing oneself.
