Sharing with others changes the world because it makes people fell good about who they are. Just by sharing, I can be known as someone who wants to make a difference in the world. As I said earlier in my other post, I like to help others, especially the people in need. For example, "Knowledge is power. Knowledge shared is power multiplied" (Robert Noyce), demonstrates how knowledge itself is good but when someone shares the power, it gets multiplied.
There are many ways to share, that impact someone's day. For instance, if one of my friends forgot his or her lunch, I will share my lunch. I would share with him or her because if I forget my lunch one day, they will remember what I did. Doing the right thing is always the best because inside it feels like something good was accomplished. In the picture above, it shows the meaning of sharing. Once someone shares, it demonstrates that he or she is caring for someone else.
When I was much smaller, there was a new backpack everyone wanted. I asked my parents if they could buy me a new backpack, but they said that mine was perfectly fine. I came up with a brilliant idea and they agreed with it. My idea included sharing my backpack with someone in need. We went to a homeless shelter and I shared my backpack. The child was very happy and gave me a hug.

Once adults become old, they are feel alone in senior homes. They feel alone because their children are no longer with them nor do they have company of a relative. For example, "Home is where the heart is"(Pliny The Elder), represents how the elderly still feels in their old home but becomes used to the elderly house due to the help of many people. A good way to mark a difference in their lives is by sharing a talent. Talents include painting, singing or baking.
Since I love to paint, once a month I go to an elderly house and paint for them. As citizens, our morale should be to help them. During the summer, I went and painted a mural full of things for the elderly. As a fact, I do not know how to bake or cook; therefore, people who do know how to do those things should use their time for that. People have many talents but may not discover them until they try it.
Spending time with the elderly is another good way to help them because as I said before, they feel lonely. Contributing anything towards them means caring for the elderly. The concept of sharing and caring comes in handy here because cooking, painting or sharing time with them means caring for them. When I share my time with them, I take care of the elders because I feel as if it is my responsibility to make them happy.

Sharing gently used clothes
Donating clothes is a great to share because many people lack a supply of clothes.

Many associations such as Salvation Army and Goodwill help the poor by sharing clothes at a reduced or free price. Salvation Army has helped a lot of people internationally because they want to make a difference in the world. People can also make a difference just by donating clothes. For example, when I want new clothes, my parents ask me to give them some of my old clothes to donating. They do this because they do not want my old clothes to lay around in the closet.
By donating clothes, I am sharing my clothes to someone who really needs it. For instance, "if the money we donate helps one child or can ease the pain of one parent, those funds are well spent"(Carl Karcher), shows the real meaning of donating. I can donate 10 pairs of shoes but if they are in horrible condition, it does not help at all. In the other hand, if I donate 10 pairs and they are brand new or gently used, I just helped 5 people.
My policy is that everyone has to be treated equally because we are all equal. I admire the associations who help the people in need because they want to make a change. Wherever I go, I always share with someone that needs something. Making a change starts from home because if someone cannot share with his or her sibling, they cannot share with a stranger. Changing the world will be hard but not impossible because there are many people out there that will share.
